We apologize, but due to greater interest in the Monday morning field trip than was anticipated, we had to cut off further signups due to travel and site logistics. You may add your name to a standby list to be filled as received if spaces are relinquished. We are happy there is so much interest, particularly being an optional activity, and regret the inconvenience of having to cap the field trip attendance. Thank you for your understanding.
The Monday afternoon drone workshop will be conducted while quail coordinators are meeting. It will offer participants that are not in the coordinators’ meeting an opportunity to learn about an increasingly prevalent technology in wildlife management. Sponsored by Wildlife Drones, the workshop will be led by personnel from NBGI and Wildlife Drones. A short classroom-style session will be followed by a field demonstration at the North Mississippi Research and Extension Center just down the road in Verona.

Queen’s Reward is a meadery located in Tupelo that uses Mississippi honey to produce their meads. This Tuesday evening trip to the meadery will include an overview of the production process and a tasting. Additional products are available to purchase from the meadery.
During the networking and team building session on Wednesday afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to shoot some clays (single stand, weather permitting). Enjoy a friendly competition of shooting skills. Bring a shotgun if you like; we will also have some available to use. 20- and 12-ga shells, targets, and ear and eye protection will be provided.
