Step 1 of 2

This guide explains how to redirect your NRCS Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) payments to a different entity or bank account.

Important Tax Notice

Under federal law, even if you assign your payment to another party (the "Assignee"),
you (the Participant/Assignor) remain the taxable party of record.
* NBGI Foundation will issue the IRS Form 1099-G to your Tax ID.

  • The assignment of funds does not transfer the tax liability.

How the Process Works

  1. Notify Your Representative: Contact your NBGI Field Director or Staff member. Inform them that you wish to assign your payment to a different name or entity.
  2. Receive the Secure Link: NBGI Accounting will send you a link to the RCPP Payment Destination Modification Form.
  3. Complete the Form: You will need the following information ready:
    • Assignor Info: Your name, address, and SSN/TIN (as it appears on your contract).
    • Assignee Info: The name, address, and TIN of the person or entity receiving the funds.
    • Banking Details: The Routing and Account number for the destination bank account.
  4. Secure Submission: To protect your Social Security Number and banking info, do not email the completed form as a standard attachment. Use one of these three methods:
    • Secure Upload Portal: (found on the next page of this form submission)
    • Physical Mail: Send to our central Accounting office address (NBGIF, CO Penny Lillard, 1715 Madison Avenue, Maryville TN 37804)

Frequently Asked Questions

Who handles my sensitive data? To ensure maximum security, only the NBGI Accounting Department handles and views your Tax ID and banking information. Field staff do not have access to these files.

Can I cancel the assignment later? Yes. An assignment can be revoked at any time. However, the request must be made in writing and signed by the Assignee before a payment has been made.

If you wish to proceed with assigning or modifying your RCPP payment check mark the box below as your acknowledgement.
